With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine Ann Bernola of Washington, Pennsylvania, born in Langeloth, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 4, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Gavatorta and Anita Filipponi Gavatorta; her husband Gus; her son Thomas Bernola; and her siblings, Jeane Furst, Lois Fuller and Steve Gavatorta (Donna).
She is survived by: her children, Richard Bernola (Billie Jo) and Anita Lindberg (David); her grandchildren, Ashley Canning (Chris), Katie Bernola (Taylor), Amanda Bernola (Michael), Derek Cummins (Bekah), Deja Barton (Jay), Savannah Bucey (Matt) and Ricky Bernola; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Norah, Parker, Landon, Asher, Laurel and Zoey.
