He is survived by: his siblings, Donald Whisner (Susan), John Whisner (Deborah) and Vicki Mozingo (Sidney); his siblings' children, Rachel McBride (Mike), Brian Whisner (Elizabeth), John Whisner (Cathy), Sidney Lee Whisner (Jacy) and Juliahna Rose; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Desmond, Dominic, Amya McBride, Katie, Teddy, Haleyna, Paisley, Camden Whisner, Riley Parana, Braden Jackson and Mavryck Rose.
The military honors was held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies (1158 Morgan Rd, Bridgeville, PA 15017).
