He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Mellon and Frances Smolsky Mellon; and his siblings, Mary Ellen Wisniewski (Eugene) and Thomas Mellon. He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Layman Mellon; his children, Leonard C. Mellon (Lonnie Nolker) of Greensburg and Stephanie Nejes (Michael) of Irwin; his grandchildren, Michael, Benjamin and Lauren Nejes; and his brother Paul Mellon (Jan) of Mentor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the Paradise United Methodist Church in memory of Leonard Mellon.
