She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Nyla Frances Paul Taylor; her husband Vernon E. Rice Sr.; her son Vernon E. Rice Jr.; her siblings, Leroy, John, Raymond, Paul Taylor, Elsie Hale, Betty Clark and Rebecca Taylor; and her son-in-law Stanley Toland.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diana Toland of North Carolina, Kris Rice of Claysville and Paula Taggart (James) of Washington; and her siblings, Donald Taylor (Jean) and JoAnne Ayres. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren.
