He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Matthew Reed and Dorothy Beadling Welch Jr. Mr; his daughters, Renee Ferrari (John) of Jefferson, Heather Rohaley (Jamie) of Midway, Elizabeth Welch of Midway and Rachel Cooper (Patrick) of Hickory; his grandchildren, Colton Ferrari, Connor, Evelyn Rohaley, Nicholas and Michael Cooper; and his brothers, Reed Welch (Shirley) of Los Gatos, CA and John "Jack" Welch of Hickory. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
