It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter K. Holmes of Washington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 3, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ethel; his parents, Howard Holmes and Margretta Holmes (LaMont); his great grandchild Cassandra Holmes; and his siblings, Robert, William, Roy, Melvin and Ellen.
He is survived by: his children, W. Kenneth Holmes, Jr. (Sue) of Sarver, Jeffrey A. Holmes (Joyce) of Murrysville, Brian L. Holmes (Carol) of Lower Burrell, Susan J. Holmes (Joseph Dutton) of Greensburg, Peggy L. Holmes of Murrysville and J. Howard Holmes of Murrysville; and his grandchildren, Justin (Amanda), Benton, Brett, Drew (Lynn), Shawn, Jenelle, Lindsay Hoke (Paul), T. J. Lennox, Jennifer Feyrer (Jeremia), Jay (Mackenzie) and Kathleen. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and surrounded by extended family and friends.
