He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Hoot" Gibson and Beatrice Burdick Gibson; his wife Barbara Jean Severance; his sisters, Priscilla Gibson Dodge and Annette Gibson Confer; his brother-in-law Ben Confer; and his nephew Jeffrey Dodge.
He is survived by: his son Michael Terrance Gibson (Katy); his grandchildren, Morgan, Aliana, Adalyn and Wesley; his children, Andrea Marie Gibson and Douglas Lee Gibson; his brother Robert "Terry" Gibson (Nesa); his nieces and nephews, Raffina and Raymond; his grandchildren, Daina Leora, John Henry, Torrey James and Shelby Jean; and his nieces, Cheryl, Cynthia, Jennifer and Suzanne.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Van Matre Funeral Home (105 Walnut St, Waterford, PA 16441). The military honors will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM.
