He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Kahle and Ruth Sickles (McClellan). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Temple; his daughters, Teresa Mook of Watsontown and Pamela Whiteman of Camp Hill; his grandchildren, Morgan Anderson (Tyler), Preston Whiteman and Ryanne Whiteman; and his great grandchild Levi Anderson.
