It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth (Gardas) Hughes of Waymart, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 3, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Anthony Gardas and Rose Bednarz Gardas; her husband Benjamin Walter Hughes; and her siblings, Charles, John, Joseph, Stanley, Anthony, Leo and Rose.

She is survived by : her son Glenn (Gift); her grandchildren, Sierra and Bryce; and her sister Mary Gardas-Tragis (Jim Mazeika). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
