It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborah Leatherman of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on March 22, 2021, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Zerban Gilbert and Corine Gilbert (Chefney); her siblings, Joann Gilbert and Edward Chefney; and her nephew Johnathan.
She is survived by: her husband R. Dwight Leatherman; her stepsons, Michael Leatherman (Nicole) and Robert Leatherman (Leslie); her sisters, Janice Combre and Joyce Cincore; her sister-in-law Antoinette Gilbert; her brothers, Lawrence Gilbert and Andre Gilbert; her brother-in-law Dave Combre; her siblings' children, Danyell Gilbert-Patterson (Tricey), Wanda Chefney, Michelle Chefney, Coriane Gilbert, Brenda Gilbert, Layden Patterson, Rialiyah Gilbert, Kareen Gilbert, Joyce Pittman, Geneva Pittman, Christine Pittman, Brandy Pittman, Azyria Gilliam, Louis Cincore, Louis Pittman, Richard Gilbert Jr. (Manny), Brennan Henderson and Cross Gilbert; and her godchildren, Isaiah of Washington, Madison Huntley and Rashaun Combre.
