We are sad to announce that on July 19, 2025, at the age of 84, Donna Kay Leatherman (Waynesboro, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Donna Kay had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Donna Kay may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise Hoover and Harry Hoover of Waynesboro, PA.; and her husband Eugene D. Leatherman. She is survived by: her son Stephen E. Leatherman (Jennifer L. Leatherman); her grandchildren, Lauren Kay of Lutz, FL. and Landon Stephen of Lutz, FL.; and also Douglas L. Hoover of Houston, TX.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home (50 S Broad St, Waynesboro, PA 17268). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Green Hill Cemetery (953 S Potomac St, Waynesboro, PA 17268).
