She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kauffman and Frances Kauffman (Diess); her former husband John Franklin Fitz; her husband Charles Kennedy; her son James A. Fitz; and her sister Augusta Crammer.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah L. Maguire and John L. Fitz; her stepsons, Charles M. Kennedy, Dr. Jay P. Kennedy and Edward W. Kennedy; and her pets, Willie and Tippy. She is also survived by two grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; one great-grandson; one step great-granddaughter.
