Janet L. (Potter) Smedley Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2025, at the age of 93, Janet L. (Potter) Smedley of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Potter and Ida May Potter (Arnold); her husband Robert W.; her daughter Joy Shatzer; and her siblings, Doris Bare (David), George Potter (Dottie) and Arnold Potter (MaryAnn).
She is survived by: her child Robin Calimer; her grandchildren, Andrea (Derrick), Lauren, Ashley (Erik), Tyler (Ashlee) and Ethan; and her sister Barbara Walsh (Jack) of Willoughby Hills, OH. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; 2 step great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Waynesboro Church of the Brethren (117 S Church St, Waynesboro, PA 17268). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
