It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. Hosie of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 22, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Hosie and Catherine Hosie (Duffy); and his children, Daniel Hosie and Valerie Hosie. He is survived by: his children, Reginia Hosie of Frederick, MD and Andrea Hosie of Middletown, MD; his stepdaughter Jackie Pierterse of Middletown, MD; his siblings, Gilbert H. Hosie of Bonita Springs, FL and Barbara H. O'Daly of Port Charlotte, FL; and his friend Maggie Abangwu-Akamelu of Waynesboro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
