The memory of Katherine I. (Harbaugh) Mowen (Waynesboro, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 12, 2025 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As Katherine I. departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Katherine I.. Though Katherine I. may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Harbaugh and Lelah Harbaugh (Wise); her husband Glenn H. Mowen; and her siblings, Alice Weddle, Phyllis Lightner, Florence Miller, Darlene Bricker and Earl Harbaugh.
She is survived by: her son Dennis Mowen of Taneytown, MD. She is also survived by two grandchildren; two great-grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Green Hill Cemetery (953 S Potomac St, Waynesboro, PA 17268).
