She was predeceased by: her parents, Lindsey Black and Lucy Durbin Black; her husband Grant Dean Sutherland Sr.; her children, Sandy Mason and Bill Mason; her stepchildren, Lynn Stanton and Lee Sutherland; and her brothers, Alvie Black, Jim Black, George Black and Harry Black.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Grant Sutherland, Chris Sutherland, Jill Farrell, Ken Stanton and Mary Stanton; her siblings, John Black, Ralph Black, Chuck Black and Patty Smitley; and her sisters-in-law, Florence Black and Patty Black. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
