We are sad to announce that on November 8, 2025, at the age of 90, Betty Carol Canan (Waynesburg, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Betty may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn W. Canan and Nelle Morris Canan. She is survived by: her brother Neil Canan (Phyllis) of Leesburg, FL; her siblings' children, Deborah Canan Ross of Jefferson, PA and Brad E. Martin (Roberta) of Pataskala, OH; her great-niece Mia Jo Ross; her great-nephew Brody M. Ross of Jefferson, PA; her brother Richard "Dick" W. Canan; and her nephew Brent E. Martin.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
