He was predeceased by: his parent Aaron Jeffries; his children, Nellie Broadwater Jeffries and Ethel Renee Jeffries; and his grandson Corbin James Jeffries II. He is survived by: his parent Cora Mae Milan Jeffries; his wife Loretta May Yost Kennedy; his children, James Jeffries (Patricia), Connie Messenger (Milo), Corbin H. Jeffries (Lois) and Cynthia Evans (Tom); his stepchildren, Melinda Benette (Robert), Dreama Henderson (John) and James Kennedy (Edna); and his siblings, Sandy Shumar, Kathy Wise, Randy Jeffries and Aaron Jeffries. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
