He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harley Hickman and Mildred M. Wright Hickman; his spouse Hazel M. Daugherty Hickman; his stepchildren, Phillip Amos (Helen Elizabeth Amos) of Jackson, N. J. and Barbara Carney of Waynesburg; his grandchildren, Beth Carney (Bryon Shriver), Michelle Carney (Robert Haywood), Cheryl DeAngelo (Gene DeAngelo) and Kevin Amos (Julia Amos); his great grandchildren, Michael Poland, Chelsey Shultz (Zack), Ashley McCallum (Jacob), Brenna Poland, Carley Haywood, Gennarno DeAngelo (Gabbi), Nico DeAngelo, Kevin J. Amos, Dylan Amos, Bradon Amos, Grace Mazur and Carolyn Amos; his great great grandchild Jaime DeAngelo; and his siblings, Beverly Cross, Dorothy Kelly, Carolyn Ross, Leroy "Buck" Hickman, David Hickman, Helen Cox, Joseph Hickman and William Hickman.
