He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Hoy and Betty Griffith; his wife Joetta "Jo" Husk Hoy; his children, Suzette Fitzgerald (John) of Frederick and Murray Hoy (Debra) of Waynesburg, PA.; his grandchildren, Karlie Wright (Wesley), Courtney Hursey (Jason), Patrick Fitzgerald and Brady Fitzgerald; his great grandchild Landyn Jack Wright; his sister Charlene Backo (Jack) of Belle Vernon, PA; his granddaughter Kyrstie May Hoy; his stepfather Charles Griffith; and his grandparents, Leazure and Isa Shultz. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
