He is survived by: his wife Shirley Baer Coss; his children, Lisa Hess (Mike) of Waynesburg, PA, Jenny Rush (Jeff) of Uniontown, PA, John Coss (Jenny) of Waynesburg, PA and Steve Coss (Dodie) of Waynesburg, PA.; his grandchildren, Melissa Medved, David Smith, Sarah Hillery, Emily Yanak, Kayla Brumley, Derek Coss, Jonathan Coss, Abbie Lazear, Mathew Rush and Dylan Rush; and his brothers, Randy Coss (Joyce) of Waynesburg, PA, Tom Coss (Debbie) of Waynesburg, PA and Mike Coss (Sue) of Richeyville, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
