She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Stanley and Lillie Mae Smalley Smith; and her husband Charles Parson, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Shirley Jones of Canonsburg, Sharon Stover (Nelson) of Waynesburg, Saundra Bayles of Waynesburg, Ed Parson (Janie) of Wind Ridge and Rick Parson (Marcie) of Smithfield; her grandchildren, Jay, John, David Jones, Jennifer Jones Lovato, Jeff Stover, Susan Stover-Smith, Tim Parson, Steve Bayles, Kristina Bayles Nicholls, Connie Parson Corbin and Jonni Parson Bihun; her stepgrandchildren, Branden and Brittany Weimer; her sisters, Dorothy Grimm of Camp Hill, Carolyn Adrian (Harold) of Carry, NC. and Marilyn Burns of Cranberry; her stepsister Lynn Zimmerman of Jeannette; her friend Alice Lemley; her grandson Rob Parson; her great grandchildren, Cory and Cody Bayles; her siblings, James Smith, Wilma Crouse, Violet Rush, Ruth Braddock and Virginia Ekey; her stepbrother William Meighen; and her stepmother Esther Smith. She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 the viewing on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from 6-8 p. m. and the funeral on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 1:00 p. m. will be limited to relatives only and will be held at Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home, LLC. 3275 W. Roy Furman Hwy. Rogersville, PA 15359.
