He was predeceased by: his parents, Aileen Wise Burkey and Ralph Burkey, Sr.; his former wife Cathy D. Vester; and his sister Debbie Burkey. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Huey-Iams; his children, Michael Hugo and Brandy Iams Huffman; his grandchildren, Shayna, Katelyn, Kaylee, Justin, Nova, Ione and Wren; his great grandchildren, Cale, Atticus, Kadeem "Kai", Layne, Boston, Bartholomew and Colette; his sister Carolyn "Sue" Casper; and his stepchildren, Joshua, Jeremy and Marceline Mason. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home (197 N Maiden St, Waynesburg, PA 15370). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
