He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Eugene and Edna Irene Hewitt Lohr; and his siblings, Gary L. Lohr and Leslie Lohr. He is survived by: his children, Shawn and Leigh Ann Lohr; his grandchildren, Jordan, Brian Scritchfield, Taylor Lohr, Nathan Ammons, Michael, Ronald, Christian, Tia Howard and Ashley Howard Deter; his son Michael Allan Lohr; his spouse Daunice Jean Hewitt; his close friends, Nicole Higgenbotham of Waynesburg, James Henry of Waynesburg, Michelle Howard and Doug Moore of Rogersville; and his siblings, Walter A. Lohr (Butch) of Waynesburg, Lenny Lohr (Patty) of Waynesburg, Karen Howard of Greensboro, Mary J. Cunningham (Roger) of Cameron and W. Va. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
