He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Grooms and Patricia Grooms (Parker); his daughter Laura Grooms; his brother George Lemley; and his brother-in-law Dave Huffman.
He is survived by: his sisters, Sharon Patterson (Bob) of Waynesburg, PA and Kathy Huffman of Waynesburg, PA; his grandson Damien Grooms; his siblings' children, Kenneth Patterson (Julie), Melissa Patterson, Josh Huffman and Megan Kepler (Nate); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Emily, Landon Patterson, Kaitlin Yeager, Larsyn and Charlee Huffman.
