He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Elias and Pearl Elias (Ruby); and his siblings, Robert Elias, Leonard Elias, Gerald Elias, Richard Elias and Viola Mazer.
He is survived by: his wife Joann L. Hartman; and his siblings, Gene Elias of Waverly, Roger Elias (Elizabeth) of Wellsville, Agnes Glover of Olean and Linda Crawford of Hinsdale. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
