He was predeceased by : his spouse Betty L. Goodwin (Folk); and his parent Robert W.. He is survived by : his parent Bertha Goodwin (Bossinger); his sons, Thomas M. Goodwin (Nancy) of Dover and Timothy B. Goodwin (Debra) of York; his grandchildren, Sundee L. Klopach, Michael T. Goodwin and Tabitha J. Vargas; and his great grandchildren, Ada Vargas and Nia Vargas.
