He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Greek; his wife Doris Nielsen of Penn Yan; his sisters, Mary Hastas (James) of Olean and Katherine Pallas (William) of Naples, Florida; his children, Michael Rigas of Coudersport, Pennsylvania, Timothy Rigas of Coudersport, Pennsylvania, James Rigas of Coudersport, Pennsylvania and Ellen of New York; his children-in-law, Mary Ann Rigas (James) of Coudersport and Peter Venetis (Ellen) of New York; and his grandchildren, Christopher Rigas (Melanie) of New York, John Michael Rigas of New York, Andrew Rigas of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, David Rigas of New York, Elias Venetis of New York and Hallie Rigas of Coudersport, Pennsylvania. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
