He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, O. Lloyd and Bertha E. Love (Hathorn); his son Darrin; his family Gloria; his daughters, Sharon (late William Luyben) and Rochelle (Stanton Graeff); his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Trevor and Elizabeth Luyben; his stepgrandson Kyle Graeff; his girlfriend Gloria Heisey; and his brother Theron D. Love.
