She is survived by: her sons, Edgar F. Speer Jr. (Agnes) and John Alex Speer; her grandchildren, Catherine Speer (Beth Terry), Bernadette Speer-Gibson (Alan), Mary Schmidt (Matt), Edgar F. Speer III (Emily) and Thomas A. Speer (Kelly); and her brother Paul Woods.
