He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Paranich and Bernice Paranich; and his pet Oden. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Sullivan; his children, Gary Paranich, Nicole Paranich and Sarah Gross (Joseph); and his grandsons, Jacob and Nathan Gross. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
