She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sister Babsi; her parents, Kathleen Toms and Andrew Toms; her sister Sarah "Fred"; her aunt Viv; her cousins, Sam, Alex, Zoe, Patrick, Adam and Eleanor Toms; her uncle Charles; her son Romain "Ro"; her granddaughter Charlotte; her brother-in-law Ben Przystanski; her nieces and nephews, Lia, Abigail, Miranda and Lukas; her foster son Noah Stein; and also, Ted, Pat and Christina Freudenberg.
Immediately after Mardis Gras, and moments before the COVID-19 pandemic sent the world into forced hibernation, Ara moved in with her sister Sarah, brother-in-law Ben Przystanski and their children Lia, Abigail, Miranda, Lukas, and foster son Noah Stein in their rambling fixer upper in Exton, Pennsylvania. Ro came to stay with Ara and her family for the whole summer, and despite the pandemic and the mental illness that had taken hold of her by this point, she rallied for us all in her last months.
