She was predeceased by: her parents, John Battin and Frances Battin; and her husband Ernest Shelton Dickens Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Ernest D. Dickens (Lela), Sandy Calderone and Deborah Dickens-Hunter (Scott); her grandchildren, Julian Calderone, Elizabeth Hunter, Catherine Hunter, Margaret Owens (Brent), Will Dickens and Nolan Dickens; her great grandchild Harper Owens; and her brother John Battin (Parmie).
