It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernard McGovern (West Chester, Pennsylvania), born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on May 7, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward F. McGovern and Georgianna McGovern (Nugent); his children, Maureen McGovern (Tony), Allison DiPietro (Mike), Jacqueline Steber (Ron), Edward McGovern (Cindy), Susan McGovern and Michael McGovern (Tonya); his grandchildren, Melissa Hemerly (Nate), Caitlin Simkovich (Ben), Noelle McSherry (Jim), Joseph Simkovich (Kelly), Anna (Laura DiPietro), Brian (Megan McGovern), Jeff Steber (Brigid) and Margo (George McGovern); his great grandchildren, Evan and Claire Hemerly; and his sister Katherine McGovern McIntyre.
