It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Parrett Hammond (West Chester, Pennsylvania), born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on May 13, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Parrett, Sr. and Florence Parrett (Veazey); and her brothers, Ralph Parrett, Jr. of Kennett Square, PA and Robert Parrett of Chadds Ford, PA. She is survived by: her brother Richard Parrett, Sr. (Nancy) of Bethany Beach, DE; her sisters-in-law, Joyce Parrett of Chadds Ford, PA and Betty Parrett of Chadds Ford, PA; her children, David Hammond (Patricia) of Ocean City, MD, Brian Hammond (Rebecca) of Lincoln University, PA and Diane Hammond Watson (Jeff) of San Francisco, CA; her grandchildren, Jamie Hammond Testa, Jodi Hammond, Thomas Hammond, Paige Hammond, Nathaniel Hammond, Paul Hammond, Alexander Hammond, Abigail Hammond, Kevin Cloud, David Cloud (Callee), Scott Cloud (Katie), Kiarra Watson and Kyle Watson; and her great grandchildren, William and Calhoun Cloud. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In accordance with current health directives regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, A Celebration of Life with family will be held at a later date.
