He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis M. Allen and Pearl Christine Lee Allen; his wife Helen Dorothy Boggs Allen; his daughter Karen Boggs-Pinkney; his grandson Michael Boggs; and his siblings, Louis Allen, James Allen, Joseph Allen, Louise Jones, Florence Lee and Eunice Brown.
He is survived by: his family Dwight; his son Wayne A. Boggs (Dorothy) of Hibernia; and his grandchildren, Sean Purnell, Aisha Purnell, Crystal Boggs-Jennings, Mark Boggs and Anthony Boggs.
