He is survived by: his siblings, John Matthews, Julia Caldwell, Alice Matthews and Frances Parmi; his children, David Matthews, Ernest Matthews, Nancy Woolard, Wendy Alter and Mary Fetterman; his grandchildren, Christopher, Benjamin Woolard, April Lindberg, Andrew, Kevin Fetterman, Elizabeth, Solomon, Mark Alter and Damian Matthews; and his great grandchildren, Chase, Cole, Cameron Woolard, Charley Magnolia Woolard, Oliver Lindberg and McDonnell Landscaping.
