He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kerak and Mary Kerak; and his son Edward Kerak, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn M. Kerak; and his daughters, Sharon Uff (Kevin), Beth Anne Welsh (late Stephen) and Andrea Kerak. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
