He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett R. Tinder, Sr. and Elva Crosby Tinder; and his sister Dolores P. Kanuika. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth M. Tinder; his children, Gerald J. Tinder, II, Dee MacFadden (Jim), Brenda Tinder and Karen Tinder; his granddaughters, Amelia Tinder and Hannah Tinder; and his brother Everett R. "Skeet" Tinder (Jean). He is also survived by many in laws, nieces and nephews.
