She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Bubness and Ann Metacavitch Bubness; her sister Marilyn Sanford; her brother-in-law Philip Sanford; and her niece Karen O'Connell-Wells.

She is survived by: her husband William Ballantyne (Bill); her sons, Mark, Jeffrey and Todd; her daughter-in-law Claire; her granddaughter Elise; her daughter-in-law Dorothy; her grandson Joseph; her sister Nancy O'Connell; her brother-in-law Joseph O'Connell of Jupiter; and her nephews, Kevin O'Connell of Philadelphia and Brian Sanford of Dunmore, Pennsylvania..
