He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Yohn Izzi; his parents, Antonio Izzi and Adelina Mattioli Izzi; and his brothers, Dorino, Michael, John and Anthony.
He is survived by: his son Joseph J. Izzi, Jr. (Tracey); his granddaughter Ava Izzi; and his sisters, Irma Cimini and Jessie Howe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
