He is survived by: his wife Tonya Strothers (Johnson); his children, Joseph Strothers, Cynthia Williams, Terri James and Roxanne James; his sisters, Anna Carter and Dorothy "Tina" Bowden; and his sons, Raymond Fowlkes, Tyrone Fowlkes, Daran Fowlkes and Damon Fowlkes.
