He is survived by: his spouse Barbara Otto; his children, Joseph Vincent Otto III, Kate Otto and Dan Otto (Chantelle); his grandchild Daniel Otto; and his siblings, Jim Otto (Dottie), Eileen Otto, Kevin Otto (Grace) and Peggy Watson (Don). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
