He was predeceased by: his daughter Mary Therese; and his parents, James J. Waters and Theresa Waters. He is survived by: his wife Therese (White); his children, Patricia Hennessy, Colleen, Poppy of Timmy and Logan Hennessy; and his siblings, James J. Waters Jr. (Lynn), Gerard Waters (Maria) and Annmarie Cox (David). He is also survived by numerous loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
