It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce Oak O'Brien (West Chester, Pennsylvania), who passed away on November 19, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Walter A. O'Brien, III; her parents, William Oak and Maria Kristina Larson; and her siblings, Laurence Oak and Laura Pratt.
She is survived by: her children, Walter O'Brien III (Marguerite McGuire) of Westborough, MA, Greg O'Brien (Nancy) of Downingtown, PA, Debra Sabatino (Paul) of State College, PA and Brenda O'Brien (Richard Dramer) of Albuquerque, NM; and her grandchildren, Sean (Alex Gunning), Kelly, Scott, Erin (Stephen Waite), Neal, Galen, Paul and Steven. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
With the pandemic raging the family has decided to hold a virtual celebration of life for Joyce in the coming weeks.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her name to either: Covenant Presbyterian Church, 400 Lancaster Avenue, Malvern, PA 19355.
