Katharine Okie Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 25, 2021, at the age of 82, Katharine Okie in West Chester, Pennsylvania, born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Howard Spencer Okie, Jr.; her son Spencer G. Okie of Morgantown Pa; her granddaughter Angelica Lewis; her son Edward S. Okie; her daughter-in-law Jennifer of Coatesville; her grandchildren, Callum and Jackson Okie; her sister Amory Stedman (Derek) of Hershey's Mill; and her parents, Philadelphia and C. Clark Zantzinger Jr. (Mary Amory). She was also cherished by 15 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Kate's name to the Natural Lands Trust, Hildacy Preserve, 1031 Palmers Mill Rd., Media Pa. 19063 and/or the Brandywine Valley SPCA, 1212 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester Pa. 19380.
