He was predeceased by: his sibling Teddy Novak. He is survived by: his parents, Theodore Novak and Maryann Novak; his wife Amy B. Novak; his children, Madeline D. Novak and Theodore J. Novak; and his brother Scott Novak (Sue). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
