She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Carnes Smith and Chester Grant Smith, Sr.; her husband Samuel R. Haines (Bud); and her siblings, Minnie Van Lew, Florence McKeever, John W., Chester G. and Roy N. Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Michael R. Haines (Susan) of Kennett Square and Teri H. Seiter (Edward) of West Chester; her grandsons, Todd P. Haines (Marjorie) of Birdsboro and Brandon G. Haines of West Chester; her great grandchildren, Zachary and Olivia Haines of Birdsboro; and her brother Gordon W. Smith (Gay) of Berwyn.
