He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilmer M. Ayers and Frances E. Gaul Ayers; his wife Gail Ayers; his former wife Joanne Heyburn Ayers; his children, Dawn Pinghera, Jennifer Dubbs (Dan), Frank Wiechecki, Brenda Ayers, Jason Ayers (Karen) and Tricia Jones (Dave); his brothers, Howard and Steven Ayers; his uncle Robert Ayers; and his grandchildren, Christina, Samantha, Fritz, Jonathan, Becca, Kylie, Hannah, Sam, Lucie and Ludo.
