She was predeceased by: her husband Owen B. Schmidt Jr.; her parents, John M. Davis and Amanda Purring Davis; her sister Elizabeth; and her stepbrother Jack Davis.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Schmidt (Lois) and John Schmidt (Mary Alice); her grandchildren, Suzanne Blair (J. W.), Allison Wallenhurst (Baron) and Stephen Schmidt (Jorie); her great grandchildren, Megan, Ava, Xan, Wes, Nick, Baron, Guy, Henry and Tatum; her stepsister Nancy Crawford; and her nieces, Janet Bernard, Barbara Brake and Carole Verngren.
